which car would you rather have: 2010 BMW 740i or 2010 Mercedes S400?

i have narrowed it down to these two german cars

i like the BMW because it has come out with newer technology e.g the cameras on the bumpers, better idrive, and it has a newer exterior and interior design

i also like the Mercedes because its always been the king of the saloons (in my opinion) and has always came out with spectacular and very new technology like the split screen satnav, but they have only changed the bumpers and the lights but still looks good

i have test driven both cars but the BMW feels more spacious while the Mercedes is more comfortable on the road

But i want to know what you think, from people that: have reviewed the cars, own the car or cars, people that are involved in the cars or generally people that know the cars.....thanks a lot

If it's you that is going to drive the car, I'd go for the BMW, it's a much better experience to the Merc. But if you are going to be driven around, Mercedes S-Class is the place to be.

Have you considered the Audi A8, also a very nice car all around.
Or maybe a Mersc S-Class AMG?
