Which cell phone is better, Blackberry Curve or Motorola Q9C?

I had a blackberry Curve but my dog got a hold of it and ate it up. I had no insurance on the phone so it left me with little options; I looked online and bought a cheap refurbished Sprint Motorola Q9C off eBay. Just wondering which one is better. I rarely use the internet on my phone, except for occasionally checking my email/face book. Really the main thing I use my phone for other than talking is the MP3 and the GPS. That said, will I be more satisfied with the Motorola than I was with the blackberry?

Also, seller claims the phone condition is mint, and that it is an A stock reconditioned phone, with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee should I be concerned about it being refurbished?
