Which is a better car: a mustang or a maserati?

I am curious of people's opinions on which is a better car. Mustang vs. Maserati.
 
You are comparing a $20-40k car to a $100k+ car? Which one do you think is better?

joel750 - Every car is metric these days. A sport bike would leave any car in the dust.
 
theyre not even comparable cars. Maserati are luxury high end super cars. and fords are...besides Maseratis are made in Italy, best supercars in the world.
 
It really depends on what's basis are your comparison is.
!) Ford Mustangs
PROS: 305 HP bone stock right of the bat
Highly Customizable
Parts are everywhere & on-line
$15,000 base price. Value goes up
depending on the model you choose
CONS: It's an American car
It's SAE not metric
Cheaply made parts
styling gets old really quick
Slow, a Honda CBR 1000 would leave this
so-called sports car in the dust on a drag race.


2) Maserati Car
PROS: Italian made
Custom made everything
Finely crafted & well designed car
New models have paddle shifters
One very fast car!

CONS: EXPENSIVE everything!
Parts are very hard to come by
Everything has to go through the dealer
typical Oil change is $5,000 every 8,000 miles
You practically have to won the Lottery to have this
Not a practical car, use it only on weekends
Car good only for show & for bragging

i dont agree with styling comment, but yes i could fix a mustang anytime or anywhere. with a mustang my car wouldnt get scratches from keys. like a maserati would.
 
While the better car is debatable, the most popular by far is the Mustang...For looks you could compare a Mustang II to a Biturbo or a Maserati Citroen..
