which motorcycles is a good begginers bike?

hey every1 i was jus wonderin... im thinkin about getting a bike.. and i was jus wonderin wats a good bike for begginers? for right now im feeling the suzuki gixxers.. i want something that looks really nice and rides good.. any ideas? thanks
