The A4 2.0 not only has more peak power but also significantly more torque. Not only does it have more peak torque, the torque band is also significantly wider than the Tc's (The A4 has a turbocharged engine and the turbo comes on boost very early in the RPM range and maintains that boost to at least 5000rpm).
I can't find the actual test data for the A4 right this second but after just recently reading a review of the 2011 Tc, I'd be shocked if the Tc is faster in a straight line than the Audi A4 2.0t.
