Which video files can be played by Honda civic navigation system?

I recently bought a Honda civic reborn with navigation option. It supports a SD card storage too so I have a 16gb SD card which I filled it with music and it played perfectly on the system. But I want to put movies in it also. I put a video mp4 format from my mobile on the memory card and it played perfectly but I when I downloaded a video from YouTube in mp4 format it didn't play. I could hear the sound but no video appeared on the screen. Can anyone help me out and tell which formats are fully compatable. And btw it can also play DVDs.

you'll have to find the format compatible with ur head unit.i went thru about 15 dvd's b4 findin out whicch format is compatible wit my 7" dvd player.download a free video converter off the net an convert the mp4 video into a mp3 or divx format and try it out one vid at a time til u find 1 dat works.flv format worked for me
