Why am I forced into Religion by my parents?

I'm a Christian and I go to mass EVERY single Sunday. I do believe in God but I'm not the most holiest person you'd meet. I was told an hour ago by my Mum that we were going to an early mass because were going somewhere tomorrow and I said ten o clock Mass? and she started giving out to me saying your not losing your religion young lady. And my Dad joined in aswell. Its so head wrecking were like the only people that go EVERY week. I would like to go to mass every Couple of weeks because I can't stay up late on Saturday nights so it means I can't enjoy myself. What can I say to my parents to not go every week?

That is how religion keeps itself: by brainwashing people.

The pedophile priests need their quota of victims, you know.
And the preachers need their quota of cash, given they have no marketable skills whatsoever.

Depends on your age i think, the most important thing i would say is to honor your parents .. when you are older and especially after they are gone you can do anything you please ..

You are not forced into believing what you find to be unbelievable.

Wait until you are independent, and have reached the age of majority, and do as you please.

until you are an adult and living out side of home and on your own you must obey your parents. If you really believed in God and loved Him you would not be asking this question. Because you see you are rebellious and want Christianity on your terms and you cannot have it your way. This is not burger king. It has to be God's way or just stop telling us you love God when you do not. What you love is you more then anyone and want to do as you please, not what is expected of you or what is good for you but to run everything your way.

Well move out and get a job and live on your own with your own rules and soon you will be running back to your Mum and Dad for help because you have not learned yet how to submit to God or parents and that will ruin your life.

Tell them to stop bothering you with their silly beliefs.

Also, you DECIDE to go to church, just stay home, what they're gone do? Tie you up and drag you to church?

Well now young lady, after you complete your education, and that includes going to church, and you survive to the ripe old age of 18, you have to do everything your parents lay on you.

Your parents go every week because that is what they believe.
