Why are 87.3425% of the "questions" on R/S really just rants or people venting?

I mean why do people ask things that are obviously just meant to get people to validate how they already feel and then pick the answer that best mirrors the asker's feelings?

(This question is one of these so whoever agrees with me the most gets best answer)

I completely agree with your point and made up statistics.

Most of the people are ignorant, unfortunately. A truly wise person doesn't need to justify their reasons; they already know that it is true and don't need to prove it. I think that more people here should ask REAL questions that they are curious about, not rants, like you said. I'm glad you asked this question because you've got a point. :)

Love and Light,

Blessed Be.

Because there are only so many legitimate questions that can be asked on here such as:
"In what year was Mohammed born".

Even fewer questions exist that you can't look up on Wikipedia and that would actually be asked on here.

I've always felt religion brings out the worst in people (hence angry Christians and their God who will burn sinners forever). And once a person is free from this religious slavery, it's very difficult not to throw a few rocks at his old master who tormented him for so long. Well, this reflects my personal experience.

What you presented in your question is a more generally accurate summation of the madness of this section -- that we're kind'a lost identities grabbing for some hold on the unknown rather than just accept that there is no handle on the unknown. Anyway, you said it better . . . thanks and bye.
