It seems like women view their boyfriend being gay as some sort of ultimate betrayal, worse than cheating. This is an ongoing issue in our society, that evokes a lot of strong reactions from women.
I don't know of any man who's this concerned with whether his girlfriend is secretly a lesbian. If my girlfriend was an in the closet lesbian, yeah, I'd be disappointed, and it would be a bummer, but I wouldn't be like "Oh my God, you betrayed me, you terrible person!" I think I would understand this is something that unfortunately, society still ostracizes people for, and there were obvious reasons why she went to such great lengths to hide it, or even lied to herself. How about having some sympathy for a person who's going through a very difficult struggle coming to terms with who they are, rather than getting all upset and judgmental?
