Why can't ISO image burnt on DVD play on DVD player?

I want to watch a movie I downloaded on my TV, so I got this program called "ConvertXtoDVD" and it did it with a menu and everything. It turned the project into an ISO file, and after I burnt it successfully with PowerISO, it didn't play on any of my DVD players.

I tried playing the DVD in Windows Media Center and it worked just fine, I saw the menu and played the movie, so how come it won't work on a normal DVD player?
 
Why are you converting to ISO?Use CXTDVD to decoded it and to burn it.That's it!!If tha is not the problem maybe you'll need to buy a cheap DVD.The cheapest one in the store,always play all kinds of dvds.
