Why didn't Cook play in the ODI World Cup for England?

He is now the ODI Captain of England but wasnt good enough to make the WC squad, WTF.
 
Cook had a fight with his hubby Steve Davies and spent the whole month crying under his pillow. That's why he couldn't make it to the world cup
 
u cant have to many grafters in the side , with Strauss and troth they didnt need another grafter, so he couldn't make iy
 
He has very few shots & good only @ TESTs (like Samaraweera,VVS Laxman)

I don't know y they made him ODI captain when his place in the team is not guaranteed !
 
Because he is a good batsman at batting out hours and scoring at 50 or so per hundred balls. He is not a batsman that strikes at 100 runs per 100 balls or even close most of the time.

Making him captain of the 50 over team is just pathetic given he is not a decent 50 over player.
