BTW, Hitler may have been raised Catholic, but he was an anti-theist, not a Christian. And Bush may not have been perfect, but who would YOU have wanted to see at the helm after 9/11? May I remind you it was the Muslims in control of Afghanistan who attacked us, not the other way around?
Hitler grew up Christian, but didn't follow it as an adult. He said it was through the glory of God's name that did his bidding, but that was how he convinced the Nazis to follow him. He didn't believe in God himself, but used his name as a selling point. I don't think people want a president that believes in Muslim faith because people and 9/11 and all that jazz. Its mostly xenophobia. Christian views are considered an American norm by many.
