Why do christians get so upset when people doubt their faith?

I don't think there should be any reason for christians to be sucks just because people from different view points and religions disagree with them during a debate. What's the point to stomping your feet and saying, jesus is real so stop saying he isn't and stop picking on us? If you are comfortable with your faith then you have nothing to worry about. Ask god for strength. Oh ya, I also read a comment saying atheists are afraid of god and that is why we don't believe in him. I see that comment often. Obviously that makes no sense but I was thinking isn't a good christian a god fearing christian? Maybe atheists are more religious than christians.
I get a real kick out of how important this stuff is to the religious but to each their own. Tonight I will pray........ to Joe Pesci. lol

Us atheists have but one mission. To stop the lunatics taking over the asylum.
Were it not for the, albeit remote, likelihood of this happening we could all live care-free lives!
That's the only reason I care about what the wilfully ignorant or woefully deluded get upset about!

The Christian mentality is that of if they don't share your views, force yours views onto them.
It's Bigotry.
Not all are like that, buit the real hard ass bible-thumper types are.
