Haha--you're telling me! I asked one question on Messianic "Judaism"...wrote a note asking that only "Messianics" and "other" Jews (since Messianics are soo Jewish, lol) answer the question. I specifically asked Christians to leave the question alone--since having only Christians trumpeting Messianic views does not bode well for Messianics being a part of Judaism. I wanted to see how the Messianics would fair debating what defines Judaism and why they call their religion Judaism. I then had to write a second note telling all the Christians who responded to me to please respect the fact that my question was specifically to those who called themselves Jews.
The question got swamped by Christians. Not even Messianic Christians (I actually have yet to hear a response from one of them). And yes, they were virtually authorities in their own minds about what my religion should be like, and what makes me Jewish.
Peace
I will echo, welcome to the club.... it happens to us all..... I do my best to stick with what I know.... and that is God, Jesus and Me.... But, there are just as many of the Jewish faith that answer questions on and about Christianity.... Don't make it right, but the door around here is in a constant swing motion...... go in peace.... God bless
