Why do lesbians always hit on straight girls but gay guys don't ever try

hitting on straight guys? Is it because lesbians are very confident they will get the straight girl anyway because most girls are bi/bicurious any and will go for it and even while gay guys know most guys are straight and things would probably turn violent if they tried? Is it because straight girls will always give in while straight guys will get very violent that there's this difference?
 
I don't hit on straight girls... I'm not into being someones experiment. I think that's a stereotype.
