Why do Liberals have good intentions but can't run a country?

Liberals think that if we all work together that there will be no war. We should all just hold hands and sing songs.
It sounds good but human nature will make it so there is always violence. No matter what they do America will always need a massive millitary to keep us strong. People will never work together unless we change our DNA. So liberal policys don't work.
