Why do people find Lesbian PDA erotic/arousing and Gay men PDA to be disgusting?

I want am writing a paper on this topic for my Sociology Class.
Now I really looking for deep answer into the topic. Rather than just the typical answer of Lesbians are hot and it's cause it 2 girls going at it rather than 1 and because guys are suppose to be masculine and it's not right.
I wanna know exactly why you may feel this way about their choice in sexuality and how they decide to show their PDA. Also why you let it bug you so much when it's not even harming you in anyway. Why is it so right/fine for women and not for men? Why do men have to suffer more because of their choice of sexuality.
Really let me now what you think about all of this.
 
honestly i don't find lesbians arousing or a turn on. thinking about myself with another guy though is really nasty to me. but i don't really let it bug me and i think gay people should be treated equally.
 
Most of my straight friends find lesbians effin hot, and gays not super hot, but pretty cute... especially when their cuddlin and holdin hands, and kissing..
 
Okay this is how I see it. Nearly every guys fantasy is to have 2 girls at once. Hence why seeing two women at the same time is so arousing to them is their just imagining themselves in the situation. On the other hand a lot of straight men do find the idea of gay men disturbing while a lot has to do with simple immaturity a small portion also has to do with being defensive of their masculenity probably because the thought of being with a man has crossed their mind, not saying they are gay at all just have had that one thought cross their minds. Men have a harder time because of the MACHO steryotypes our society expects them to conform to .
 
Well it's pretty obvious.
Straight men think guys are disgusting, which is why they only like lesbians....because they like women and find them attractive.

Straight women usually either hate ALL gays, male or female, or have no problem with us.
 
Yaoi fangirls are a dying race...
It's mostly men that look at women engaging in, let's say, explicit activities and start drooling. But I personally am the biggest yaoi fangirl EVAR and love the boyxboy stuff.
Okay, shut up, whatever.
Look, don't expect deep or even mildly coherent answers at this hour. I tried. Really hard. Isn't that enough?
