I don't undertstand why people in this country care so much about people they will never meet. Lily Allen, Jordan, Katie Price (two different people apparantly, Jordan dresses and acts like a slut and Katie Price is a saint), Kerry Katona, Jade Goody / Big brother people generally

I know about them, because of TV and radio but have never watched Big brother. Most of these people don't have any talent. I can understand why you'd admire the best film stars, rock stars and footballers

but Jade Goody? Kerry Katona?

EXPLAIN .....

In the US it is the same way. People glued to their televisions, obsessed with even reality t.v. stars, let alone popular celebrities. We have dozens of television channels DEVOTED to what a celebrity did that day (walk into a restaurant, walk out of a restaurant, get mobbed by the paparazzi)

People here pay attention to nobody's

I think it's because people are attracted and desperate for power, if they can't get power they are attracted to people who have it.
