i mean. she didn't. her fanbase isn't her dad's fanbase and everyone of miley's fans (or at least most of them) refer to her dad as Miley Cyrus's dad. so why do ppl say her dad got her famous? and dont tell me cuz her bought her the part cuz even if tht was true tht doesnt mean she wouldda gotten famous. its up to the fans to do tht
 
Because she did. She would never have gotten the role of hannah montana if her dad wasnt Billy Ray Cyrus, the COUNTRY MUSIC LEGEND btw I dont understand your reasoning-It makes no sense.
 
Because it's true. If her last name wasn't Cyrus, people wouldn't be paying much attention to her when she first came out. Honestly, she isn't that talented, so she isn't famous solely based on talent. If her dad wasn't Billy Ray Cyrus, they wouldn't have picked her for HM and she wouldn't of became famous.
 
Because she ultimately has no talent. If it were not for her being the child of someone famous, we never would have heard of her.
 
She developed her fanbase because she was Hannah Montana but she wouldn'tve landed the part if it wasn't for her dad so that's why people say that
