Why do Republicans on here answer direct questions in the fashion that politicians

I never see a direct answer when it comes to direct and pointed questions to the "conservative" audience here... it seems they normally answer questions with (unrelated) questions or defer to criticisms of Democrats/Obama.. why is that? I am eager to answer questions/criticisms aimed at Democrats or Liberals .... why are they so afraid to do the same? Truth is against them?

They all take their marching orders and talking points from the same people, Fox News. Even when they try to answer a legitimate question, it's always some regurgitated Glenn Beck rant about socialism.

I blame it on the fact that they only have attacks left since W. ran their policy ideas off a cliff. They want to appear as the lesser of two evils by making us seem evil, communist, and foreign.

By foreign I mean painting us as loving illegal immigrants and crime and making Obama out to be Kenyan. There is an honest amount of anger and xenophobia of others there. Cons have nothing left but anger and fear. There is no other way for them to win an argument since Bush.

They don't give direct answers because they don't have the courage of their convictions. They are racists, but don't like to show it. Some are openly and publicly racist, but do so from the safety of their computers and screen names.

Just about half the audience agrees with you. Just about the other half think that the dems never answer a direct question. It's so predictable. It's more fun to speculate about the "other" and why they are here at all. But you have solved that one too, they are ducks! Seriously, how do I know this? When I go back to look at my answers more often than not I have the exact same amount of ups as I do downs.
