I have asked this question before (1-2 years ago) and found a solution from someone that said to go to brand of players' site and "download" "updated driver" and burn 2 disc and follow onscreen directions. OK, i did all that, seemed like it did the trick, now seems like since getting new in age coming back to same problems as before. I know its not the player because pop a regular dvd.....boooom....comes right on with no hesitation! I FEEL like if we spend our hard earned money for good hq products, we shouldnt have to do all this upgrade and whatnot. I like the looks on Wal-Marts's faces when describing problems and asking if there is any need to update once we buy....SCREW THAT!!!!!

2 years is now a VERY long time in electronics. Things change rapidly and companies create more shoddy products.

The solution is the same. Go the web site of your blu-ray manufacturer and check if there are any firmware upgrades for your model.
