That nativity scene is false.
The "Magi" found Jesus when he was almost 3 years old.

The census gives us an idea of when it happened but the gospels weren't written til a very long time after wards. The disciples didn't even know who Jesus was til close to His crucifixion so the Gospels were written from eye-witness accounts from others and themselves.

Well obviously according to the Bible it wasn't His birth God wanted celebrated. It was His death that was of greatest importance. No where in the Bible does Jesus or His Apostles ever celebrate His birthday-
They do how ever celebrate His death, the death of the passover lamb. 1 Cor. 5:7. It was on Nisan 14 that
Jehovah delivered the Jews from Egypt after celebrating the passover. And it was on Nisan 14 33 CE that
Jesus celebrated His last passover and died. At the celebration He said "Keep doing this in remembrance of me." Ex.12: 17-18 1st passover. Luke 22:19, Jesus last passover. Paul at 1 Cor.11:26
said " For as often as you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the DEATH of the Lord,
until He arrives." Jesus gives more importance on His faithful death than His birth for this is the date that is spoken of in the Bible. Look it up for yourself.
