It's an aggressive street oriented style. It just has no fixed stances and dogma bolony. You can train at your own pace and target any area you want. I focus on clinch and ground/pound. Many kids focus on stand up and maintaining distance.
Asian countries are collectivist. They like being all the same. Here in the west folks like being on their own more. And I know this because I lived in lots of places. In Toronto people stay on subway platform if there's not enough space. In Moscow everyone gets in, always. And in Tokyo they get shoved in by special people.
So yeah, those are my thoughts.
All MMA stands for is - well rounded fighter.
