I got my Sentra last spring, and have loved it! Until it started to snow... the first time I was out on the icy roads, I was shocked when my car seemed to lose control. It felt like I was fish tailing, when the roads didn't even seem to be too bad.
I've lived in snowy conditions my whole life, and I've never had a problem with my car like this. My initial reaction was that my tires were summer tires only. I went to three different tire shops to ask them about my problem, and all of them told me the tires were all-season tires, and that they should be fine. I never replaced my tires, but I've spent all winter scared to death to drive on even wet roads, much less icy or snowy.
Has anyone else had this problem? Are new tires the answer? Or is there something wrong with my Sentra?
