When I copied a movie on my VHS unit years ago it played back perfectly, but today I tried to record from the VHS copy on to a DVD recorder and copyright protection cannot record message popped up.
How come I was able to copy it in the first place without any distortion and that was years ago even then some of the VHS movies we rented had macrovision on them but not always.
