Why does my TOSHIBA DVD VIDEO PLAYER SD-12000 do the following?

Does anyone out there know why my TOSHIBA DVDE VIDEO PLAYER SD-1200, when watching a DVD it stops in the middle of the DVD? If anyone can help me out please E-Mail me back.
