Paris Hilton is famous by association. She's the heiress to the Hilton fortune. As far as that, she's made a few songs, been in a few movies, was in her own reality TV show. If she hadn't done any of those things and was just an heiress, then I could see that. But, technically, she HAS established herself in Hollywood.
