Every time I try to download a torrent my wireless router goes offline. I switch the cable to get the internet directly from the modem and it works perfectly, for which I think my problem is the router. I tried messing with the max number of connections but it slowed down my speed and I put it to what it had before and it is still slow.
Therefore I would also like to know if there is a way to get bittorrent to default settings without uninstalling it. And if that's the only way, will it erase something i have half way through?
Also, if this problem cannot be solved without lowering the speed, would buying another router allow me to have it at its normal speed? without having to make any modifications?
And umm... anything else you would like to add is welcome. Thanks
