So, about 4 months ago I got a new battery and ever since I have been having huge issues keeping this vehicle going. I got the new battery so that this wouldn't happen and it was "time" (so the people at Goodyear said), but the problem ended up being fixed by an entirely new issue that had to do with the brake light switch not being activated and draining the battery.....anywho, I got the battery and ever since the car has to be jumped if I leave it sitting for more than like 18 hours, otherwise I have to call someone to jump start it. I will admit, the light switch on my driver's side door is constantly activated, but this is not using enough electricity to drain the battery. I took the car back to Goodyear about a month ago and they tested the battery, starter, alternator, and all the electric (or so they said) and told me that I would have to leave it overnight to duplicate the issue for them...I am just trying to see if anyone has heard of this happening before? The last time I got the car jumped (Monday) the guy told me that it probably has to do with the cables not connecting correctly to the battery or possibly frayed wires....please help as I am sick of the stress of this issue. Thanks in advance! :)
