1. There are a minuscule amount of female comedians in comparison to men.
2. I can't stand listening to a girl try and make jokes it is frankly depressing.
3. Don't give me that "you don't get our cleverness" excuse I am in Mensa.
Ugh I knew people would criticize the Mensa allusion. I want answers not snarky misdirections. It was only to counter another one of the more common defences women bring up and that was to avoid being mean (I have a depressing research paper about you ladies which I won't share).
Alright so a lot of angry comments from women and as for the ones who know how to control their temper, good job.
1. You don't know me well enough to assess any aspect of my personality including humour.
2. Saying Mensa members are all "void" of humour is a generalization which you have not backed up. Also statistically speaking you can not tell me you gained that opinion from personal experience because Mensa only accepts the top 2% of the population.
3. Regarding the point about empathy and not understanding female humour. I have read a few books about the ancient Greek's ways of rhetoric figures, took a neuroscience course, read a couple books on classic humour and I have a deeper understanding of the brain contribution, history, cultural impact and presentation of humour and jokes.
