Why don't people greet me properly? Does it happen to you?

I ask this in the Ramadhan section as I find it to be common practice within my culture which is Pakistani. I am a female 18 years old.

Ok here it goes..
I find that for example when I go to someones house and/or answer the door when people are coming to my house..the males (mostly teens upto in their 20s) DO NOT EVER GREET! It is ALWAYS the Pakistani people that do that (I am not saying all Pakistani's do this just the ones I come across)

Like all the non-asians they greet me properly..I answer the door I am like hello..and they smile back and say hello..its just simple formality!

But with my male cousins and my brothers friends who are Pakistanis I answer the door to let them in MY HOUSE and obviously I am gonna make eye contact and smile and say hello..coz thats just normal and me being polite. But they just ignore me DONT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME. Its so irritating..its like you come into my house with such attitude!!! I answer the door and they just walk straight past me!

Does anyone else experience this? Its so irritating..what to do? Now when it happens I purposly keep saying Hi till they don't respond..but even when they do its so grumpy and their mumbling and they make NO eye contact or smile...but yet to my brothers and their wives they'll be proper smiley and welcoming..just towards me?
I mean do they think am gonna fancy them just by them saying hello..its so pathetic..!

I know its minor, but still I find it rude and arrogant especially when they come into my place and don't greet me when I ANSWER THE FRIGGIN DOOR TO LET THEM IN!
I get what you're all saying about lowering their gaze...but these people are FAR from religious..they drink, smoke, fornicate, have relationships so yeah
