It's not religion, it is greed that kills. It just so happens that when religion is involved it is due to it's leadership. People think they cannot know G-D, so they trust in other human beings who have been chosen to lead their religions no matter how skewed they appear to the naked eye. G-D reveals himself to all who seek him no matter their status in society. Those open to him know he is the greatest giver with nothing but love for all mankind. War and death caused by war boils down to the selfish wants of other men....they just abuse religion to to get what they want.
