Why is DVD on PS3 censored?

I'm currently watching Unstoppable on standard DVD (not blu ray) rented from Netflix on my playstation 3 and every time a character says a swear word it is edited out.. for instance a character was saying god damn and his lips moved but nothing came out. Anyone know why this would happen and/or how to fix it?
must be the disc, it's weird because some instances of "god damn" were edited and some weren't
 
the dvd is censored the ps3 can not tell that someone is swearing just get another dvd
 
Check the Parental Controls on your system to make sure they're not enabled.

Settings > Security Settings > BD Parental Control (should be set to OFF)

Settings > Security Settings > DVD Parental Control (should be set to OFF)

Settings > Security Settings > Parental Control (may use a password)

If the first 2 are OFF and there's no PC password, then it's the DVD itself.
