Why is my correct WEP key still not working for DS wifi?

I just got a new router so that I can connect to wifi on my Wii as well as my DS, but when I enter my WEP key on my DS after I find my router as an access point in wfc settings, it just says "These settings are invalid. Confirm the information and try again."
I just entered that same WEP key onto my Wii and connected perfectly. Why isn't it working for DS? D:
