Hey,
Alright, I know there's other topics on the internet like this, and I've read them. I also read the answers, and that's where I get confused. Here's the deal:

I slid my car CD player out of it's slot, and the top of it felt hot. I felt the back of the player, and it was scorching - I couldn't keep my finger on it for over a second. Im afraid that it'll burn my wires or catch fire.

I looked up this problem through Google, and got a few different answers. Some people says that it's meant to get hot. Some say it's the ground wire. Others say the CD Player is going out. Does anybody have any info for me on this subject? Any help would be appreciated!

Cd players just get hot like that. if your that concerned about it you can get a small cooling fan, but honestly you shouldn't have wires anywhere near the top and it doesn't get hot enough to melt them. ground wire or the radio going out has nothing to do with it getting hot.
