why won't limewire start on my windows based machine?

I downloaded and installed Limewire and attempted to run the program. It briefly starts, but then quits without the icon showing on the task bar. I uninstalled the program, fearing that I had made an error in the installation, but got the same result.

Uninstall Limewire and download Frostwire; same thing, maybe a bit better and probably wont have that problem.
