Why won't my Computer read Blue rays even though I downloaded CyberLink

PowerDVD 12 and DA player? I have brought some Blue Ray DVDs and have been told that they can be played on the computer if you have CyberLink PowerDVD 12 or DA player! I have gone and downloaded those programmes and still is it unable to ready my blue ray dvds. when I insert the discs it just says no disc is found please insert a disc! How do I make my computer read my blue ray discs there must be a way>>>
