why wont my iphone 4 connect to my wireless router?

my network name shows up in the wi-fi and i type in the password but a bubble pops up saying "unable to join the network" what do i do to fix this?

Unplug the power cord to the router, wait 10 seconds. plug the power cord back in. Wait for it to boot up give it a minute or two. Then try again with your iPhone. It should be working.
