Why won't my Toshiba Satellite L300 work with my wireless network?

Okay, I just recently got a Satellite L300 and I bought the router and set it up (with WPA) and everything. When I tried to connect to it it worked fine. Then, I tried to connect my DS into it but I found out that the DS only supported WEP, so I restarted my router and changed it to WEP. Then, I tried to use the internet in my laptop and it said that the network does not meet the requirements. What should I do? I really want to have the connection for both my DS and my laptop. I'm using a D-link WBR-2310 router. Thanks for the help.

WPA is the newer and more secure encryption security update your DS software or adapter. I assume by DS you mean desk top computer. You can not use two different types of encryption on same router.
You can set up a new wireless network connection on the lap top and select WEP. If this does not work contact the router website customer service at http://www.support.dlink.com and ask for a work around.
Hope this helps
