This is my first time downloading a .torrent file. I'm using the bittorrent as its opener and it isn't done downloading but the files that are done have different formants like .avi, .mp4, .mpeg, or .mkv. I tried playing the all of theses formats but none of them will play on my quick time or windows media player and it always says error. and when i tried to convert them to a different format it still says error. What should i do!!!!!!!!!!!
it says (FORMAT: MP4) error 2408: couldn't open file (name of video) because it is not a file that Quick time understands

(FORMAT: .MKV) Windows can't open file

EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ANY CONVERTER IT STILL DIDN'T RECOGINIZE IT

Wow. If it's not done downloading, don't try to play it. That's obvious. Most of those formats can be played in many different video players, I personally use one called Kantaris. Google it for a quick download and install if you want to. You can't just say it says error that's not nearly descriptive enough. Also, "what should I do?" is a question. You don't need to put 20 exclamation points after it...god.

EDIT: and I also hope you aren't pirating these videos...have fun getting caught if you are.
