I downloaded the DivX player 7 and when I try to play a movie that I downloaded on it, the sound won't work. A message popping up when I open the movie says "You may need an additional audio decoder to play the soundtrack of this file." .. Seriously?? What audio decoder? And where can I download it?

What decoder you need depends on the codec used in encoding the audio stream of the file you are trying to play..
What is the extension of the file?
You can install a bunch of audio/video decoders(as well as encoders) by install Klite codec pack available freely.
In case you got the video from some porn site of from some torrent file then you should refrain your self from downloading and installing the codec. Its very likely that you'll be infecting your PC with some trojan.
Generally everything should play on your PC if you install Klite(given that you selected 'lots of stuff' while installing the codec).
KK.
