Why would my 1993 GMC 1/2 ton not get fuel to the throttle body?

It has lots of spark. I removed the line coming from the tank to the throttle body and turned on the key and no fuel is coming. I also can not hear the pump running in the tank when I turn the key on.I have taken an in-line fuel pump and hooked it up between the throttle body and the line coming from the tank and it still will not start. When I pour gas into the throttle body the truck will run until the gas is gone.
 
The fuel pump or the line you removed, the gas can eat through anything, so there's no build up unless your fuel filter is clogged. then there's the fuel injectors, they are pretty cheap as far as cars go. Nothing else could it be, you could change it all and see.
 
If you have tried 2 fuel pumps,I would think you have a clogged fuel line check your lines.
 
the people telling you about injectors obviously dont know much about cars, you have a TBI engine; there are no injectors..LOL hence the name throttle body injection. works just like a carburetor only higher pressure. anyways sounds like fuel pump is likely culprit, probably have to drop tank and have pump tested, could be as simple as a clogged filter tho, maybe start there its the easiest step. probably located somewhere on the frame rail
 
Try using a NOID light to see if the ECM is sending the rapid pulsation signal to the injectors its supposed to. Unplug the electrical connector to one of the injectors and plug the NOID light into it, then crank the engine and see if the light blinks. If its not blinking, then there is a problem with the circuitry to the injector or with the ECM itself. If it is blinking, then either the injectors are stuck closed or there is a blockage in the fuel line somewhere.
