Why's religion not taught in schools and colleges?

The freedom of religion clause in the United States constitution has been turned into freedom from religion requirements for public schools and colleges due to Supreme Court decisions in cases brought by atheists resulting in a tide of immorality sweeping over the nation.:hammer punch:

They teach truths, facts, and rationale along with science and literature instead of myths. They are funny like that.

"Social Conditioning"* is the responsibility of the parents!

* "Brain-washing" is such an ugly term don't you think?

The teaching of "Comparative Religion" in schools is somewhat akin to discussing the relatve merits of crack cocaine and crystal meth on a Drug Education program! JUST SAY NO!!!!!!!

It IS, in PRIVATE schools and universities.

And if a "lack of belief" is the problem, WHICH belief is the answer? YOURS, obviously, right? Take your bigotry elsewhere.

It is separation of church and state. Personally I side with you on this one, but I think it should be left up to the students to chose what religions are taught at their schools. Because I don't think it is right to force one religion even if you know it is the right one. I think allowing religion in schools would help to make our country a better place.
