...2005 doomsday predictions? By the fraudsters in the "global climate change" movement? After Katrina, it was oh-so-trendy for the fraudsters to proclaim that more and more Katrinas were on the way. Whoops. 2010 is shaping up to be the 5th straight mild hurricane season.
 
No. Each year gets new hurricane projections. The 2005 doomsday predictions aren't in effect every year.

Solar activity will be on the rise for the next few years after bottoming out its 11-year cycle late in 2008. Hurricane activity will likely be on the rise as well. There have been quite a few hurricanes since 2005, just not many that made landfall in the US.
