Will a 2way diff make a big difference in my nissan s14a??????

I have a standard diff n its shit,it wont put out properly.i was gunna weld the standard diff but dats just trouble in the corners when i want to drive respectable.so whats the best option.i want the best diff i can get.i dont understand 2way or any other diff.so some help would b great.
