i have a 1998 nissan maxima and it has Bose speakers in it but i was the radio to have an aux option for my ipod... if i get a new reciever will it work with the bose speakers? or can i add an aux option to my stock radio???
I'm almost sure it will, it's best to get a new receiver now a days those things come compatible with ipod's ,the only thing that may not work is if you have a factory disc changer.
You can actually buy an aux option for a stock radio, but it will take some wiring, but yes there is such thing... Just click on that link and you can buy it there or get it somewhere else, but this is what it'll look like...
Other than that ya you can buy a new receiver and it will still play tunes off of your Bose speakers... I recommend getting a new receiver over the aux option because it'll be aftermarket, make your ride look better, and it will put out clearer tunes in your car...
Yes it will, any reciever has to power up your speakers in the car. And modern recievers come with an AUX port so your ok. You can find one for around $70-$100 on sonicelectronix.com
