will the Daria DVD ever be released in Australia?

Is there any plans to release the upcoming Daria DVD for Australia? Its available on amazon, but only for American/Canadian DVD players. Does anyone know if they are planning to release a version we can play?
Is the american version actually different? Will we be able to play that version?

hey it should get a release going of the amount staff get asked about it. i have afew friends that work at jb in different locations and they say not a day goes by since the release in the states where they dont get asked about it. the sad new is there isnt a release date so its gonna be nov at best but i would expect 2011 release.

as for the dvd there should be any difference from the us copy. some of the music had to be edited with covers in place of original music because all the copyright issues would have not only cost them a great deal more to release. meaning it would have been double the price at best, but it would have taken them a great deal longer to release.

as for it being ntsc format, even most cheap players can be made to play movies from other countries, some need you push afew keys on the remote others like ps3 are already done. just type in the model of ur player and see if it needs a code to unlock
