Wired or Wireless Router for PS3?

I want to connect my PS3 to the internet so I need to buy a router. I was just wondering if I should get a wired or wireless router. My PC and PS3 are in the same room. If I do get wireless is there anything else I need to buy besides the router? WHat would be a good choice for a cheap dependable router?
