witch is the format that a video needs so it can work on a dvd player?

I AM DESPERATE i looked every were and i cant find the right format that the video that i downloaded needs to have so then it works on the dvd player of the mark cyber vision that i have at home.CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?
