I wonder if good people on both sides wouldn't be better occupied cooperating to end the desperate hunger facing 2.5 billion people around the world, while also working to stop war and global warming. Wonder if fighting over "Creationism v Evolution" is the best use of our shared energy & time.

This is a fight over more than mere belief. This is a fight over civil liberties.

I can't feed Africa. And by the way, if they had good democratic governments in Africa, then they could feed themselves.

And Global Warming is the biggest myth yet. It's a big guilt trip, feeling bad because you don't think you deserve a good life, therefore mankind must be so evil they're destroying the whole planet. When it's actually a one-degree change, given spotty data, and the unexplained existence of past ICE AGES that come and go.

No matter what happens here on Earth. We are all going to die some day and face eternity either in heaven or hell. If you don't believe in that, that's your problem, but nothing can be more important than what you believe, because that determines your eternal destiny.
God was so gracious to give his Son to die for our sins so that we don't have to spend eternity in hell (perish). The second death. He also gave us the Bible so that we can know about God, and believe in Him. Because we can't save ourselves, we need to have faith to be justified. This is the most important information that I can give you, which in summary is. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Learn about Jesus by reading the Bible, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
